Came into this restaurant to celebrate a birthday the parking lot had plenty of parking but this restaurant is located inside a plaza so it's not just by its self Upon entering we were greeted and asked about our options for food once seated the real magic began... Our chef for the night came in and lit the grill up with a smiley face (lol) It was so fast I couldn't get a photo, as he started making our selections right in front of us they made sure to ask did we want extra or need any sauces like yumm yum sauce etc they popped steak into our mouths as just something fun to do. Overall I really enjoyed this for a quick birthday dinner with very light entertainment the drink was strong and smooth it had Rum in it I loved it! Definitely would come back to this place for sure

The hibachi dinner is amazing. Our kids loved it. We have now started taking our grandkids when they come to visit. We've never had a bad time.

I recommend for the menu options of sea bass, halibut and another sea fish but can't remember- there were menu options uncommon for the Midwest. And the hibachi chef was entertaining and fun spirited. Cocktails were good too.

We had a birthday celebration here recently and had a great time! I was first impressed by how big the restaurant was! Although it was very busy on a weekend night, we were able to be seated fairly quickly (~20 minutes). Each of the tables for hibachi hold ~10 people. Since our group was a total of 6, we shared the space with 3 others which was not a problem at all. The service was great, especially from our chef! He put on a great show and was very entertaining. He really set the tone for the night and was also flexible in how he cooked the food with an allergy we had in the group. I ended up ordering the chicken and steak combo. As you are watching the chef make the food, the staff brings over miso soup and a small salad. The salad was delicious with a sweet dressing. The plate itself comes not only with the meat, but also veggies and a good helping of fried rice. The meat was cooked to perfection and the fried rice was delicious. Overall, plenty of food! Of note, like many hibachi restaurants, the price can be on the higher side (~$20-30). However, between the excellent service and the amazing entertainment by our chef, the trip we made was well worth it!

The food is delicious! You get a show! They are fast and friendly. We always get the Hibachi grill because it's fun and who doesn't like to catch broccoli . I get the shogun special it's steak shrimp and chicken. The filet is delicious too! Fun atmosphere!

Shogun is my favorite spot for sushi! Their biggest crowd is for the Teppanyaki steam table side. But you can go here just for sushi and bypass the wait (and noise) of the cooking show. The chef special rolls are posted in the sushi bar area and you can watch the chef prepare your rolls. We had the Bonfire roll. It comes out in a flaming presentation and tastes delish! So next time you go to Shogun just ask to sit "on the sushi side"!
